Origination
Origination is where we take your logo as an art file (GIF or JPEG) and turn
it into at template. We use this to place your logo on products. Captain Fantastic
offers a range of ways to apply your logo to products, but recommends these
three as the most successful:
-
Embroidery - Excellent for clothing, offering good definition over
a small area. Embroidery offers a wide choice of colours and threads to
match your brand perfectly and is long-lasting.
-
Screen Print - Good for items with a large design area or on fabrics
where embroidery is not an option, such as umbrellas. The design is inked
onto your merchandise through a screen which gives you good control over
colours and definition.
-
Cad Cut - The design is heat-transferred onto the product. The effects
might not stay in pristine condition as long, but it's economic for creating
attractive promotional material.
Once you have paid for the template, Captain Fantastic can keep it on file
so that repeat orders can be made without further origination. As well as saving
you money, this also ensures better colour-matching between different batches.
Repeat Orders
Captain Fantastic keeps all originated templates on file, so you don't pay
for origination when you re-order. This makes repeat orders simple - you save
money and we can make sure that products from different orders match.
